The extraction system functions with negative pressure (vacuum) that draws the air through suction casings/nozzles, hose system, separator and filter system. Coarse separation of dust occurs in the unit’s cyclone which is a highly efficient separator for larger particulate. The fine dust is separated and contained by the unit´s filter system. Separated material is collected for disposal in the plastic sack or container at the base of the cyclone._x000D_

Filter cleaning with reverse pulse gives long filter life and constant capacity.

DC2900a
Mobile Dust ExtractorsThe DC2900a is successor to the DC2800a. It plugs into a standard 120v plug and is suitable for vacuum cleaning and source extraction from hand-held power tools (with up to 5″ suction casings), as well as small portable shop machines. The DC2900 has a sturdy steel chassis with large wheels, yet is still lightweight and portable. The DC2900 can be ordered with a plastic bag (DC2900c) or steel collection container (DC 2900a). As with all of our mobile dust extractors the DC2900a has three stage filtration consisting of a cyclone pre-filter and a certified hepa filter.
