The DC 5900 L PTFE is a joint development project together with a market leading concrete floor grinding machine manufacturer. It is especially suited to managing the large volumes of concrete dust generated during floor grinding. The machine is equipped with a pleated PTFE filter cartridge (Teflon™ filter) with a large filter area (54 ft2/5 m2) to maximize airflow. The PTFE material reduces the tendancy of the fine dust to adhere to the filter. As a result, it allows continuous operation of today’s highly efficient concrete floor grinders. Floor grinding is definitely one of the toughest applications for a construction dust extractor. This means that high demands are made on the filters and the equipment used to collect the dust.

The DC 5900L PTFE provides optimal performance with concrete grinding discs of up to 40”/1000 mm. The DC 5900L PTFE is equipped with longopac plastic sacks. Dustcontrol strongly recommends the use of a pre-separator for maximum efficiency in floor grinding applications.

Mobile Dust ExtractorsThe standard DC5900L 10 HP is used for large hand-held power tools and heavy duty cleaning on construction sites. This machine is fitted with the continuous bagging system known as the Longopack. These dust extractors are suitable for two smaller handheld power tools or one larger tool, such as a floor grinder with a disk diameter up to 30″/750 mm. As with all of our mobile extractors this unit features three stage filtration including a cyclone, pre-filter and certified HEPA filter. Certified HEPA filters are individually tested for their effectiveness. A three phase 10HP direct drive motor and turbo-pump generates the airflow. No belts or pulleys are present meaning less service and less downtime.

Mobile Dust ExtractorsThe standard DC5900c 15 HP is our largest three phase mobile dust extractor and is ideal for your most demanding dust extraction needs on the go. DC5900c dust extractors can be used with large tools such as floor grinders, multiple hand held tools or in a semi mobile configuration. Having a direct drive three phased motor and turbo-pump the DC5900c is perfect for continuous extraction with long hose sets. Also the DC5900c is built on a sturdy chassis with large wheels and heavy castors, making it a durable dependable machine. As with all of our mobile extractors this unit features three stage filtration including a cyclone, pre-filter and certified HEPA filter. Certified HEPA filters are individually tested for their effectiveness. The DC5900a 15 HP is similar to the DC5900c except that it is equipped with a steel collection container.
